Jacket Athabaskan
L 'used to decorate beads, or other techniques, extended over time to even those of their white clothes. Especially in the Northern Territory where the climate required the use of barbed heavier garments, spread the use of jackets (or coats), cut on the uniforms of the British or French armies committed there. The raw material used was, however, the skin of deer or other animals, to tanned Indian fashion. From this encounter between two cultures as different styles of clothing came into being of particular beauty.
