I got to talk about these particular amulets designed to contain the umbilical cord of the newborn several times already. This has the distinction of being decorated on both sides but with different reasons. The inspiration comes from the Plateau, but the original reason is Angela Swedberg, a great artist in many mediums, whose website can be found through the links on this page. __________________________
